Rating: 5 of 5 stars A year-and-a-half ago, we bought a wonderful big house with 2000 square feet of hardwood floors that needed refinishing. Once that was accomplished, we weren't about to cover them with wall-to-wall carpets, so we started looking for area rugs. We went to various floor covering shops and department stores without success, and finally found Caroll Rugs. What a relief!
No longer did we have to pull back the corner of one carpet after another to try to get a look at the ones underneath. At Caroll Rugs, they have carpets hanging on big racks so you can see every square inch. And they are happy to lower them to the floor so it's possible to see them at the right angle.
The selection is huge, with a great variety to choose from. The sales staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and (most importantly) patient. As we got each room painted, we would show up at the store with fabric swatches and paint samples, and Wendy or Christopher would lead us in just the right direction to find what we needed to complement our decor. Once we thought we found the right carpet, they encouraged us to take it home to see the carpet on our own floor before we bought it. What more could one ask for?
We've bought area rugs for our dressing room, study, breakfast room, dining room, foyer, and living room, and we’re not done yet. We're looking forward to finishing our last few rooms, and we're sure going to miss those nice people at Caroll Rugs when we're done decorating our new home.
